Not a great picture of a large buck. This last one pictured, I scared off last Wednesday evening. We stared at each other for a few minutes as he stood there and I stood about 100 yards to the right. He bounded up the hill when I moved a few steps closer.
That's a nice deer! Are you hunting this fall? I've been out with the Bush-Hog and cleaned up the paths past our friend's deer stands, so he is all set.
ReplyDeleteI'm not much of a deer hunter but I've lined up a few who are interested. Last year our friends missed out several does by about an hour. One of our cameras snapped a doe and less than an hour later the friends walked by.
DeleteThe DNR has dropped the number of licenses again this year saying the deer population is "low". They aren't low at our place from the snapshots we take.
Good luck to your friend. Maybe he will get the buck on the picture you posted.
