Director of Early Warning Services, Buck, is tired of winter.
The Mrs' faithful companion usually likes the snow and often shoves his nose deep into the powder to pick up a scent. Now, he looks like he can't wait for spring.
Looking at -8 tonight, -15 tomorrow night and 3-5 inches of snow on Saturday.
He looks like a sweet old friend. So. Illinois is now all mud, with all but a few little snow bones left in the ditches. Spring will arrive!
ReplyDeleteHe's been a faithful companion for 10+ years. A cocker spaniel/border collie mix, we got him on a whim and he adores the Mrs. He (grudgingly) obeys me.
ReplyDeleteYesterday they reported frost still down to 30 inches, about six inches of mud at the pond. I spent time in Fairfield this morning and spent a little time at the pond before heading home. Almost all of the snow is gone.
