Cabin fever, floor
On Saturday, I spent the day clearing brush for our spring plantings. A section in the SE corner will be for our hackberry transplants and for our few bur oak acorns. I also readied a small section for more grapes and blackberries that we ordered.
Both sons and my wife finished insulating our cabin floor and then we attached the plywood floor. Here's Number One Son screwing the floor down while I take a break:
And the floor is done:
I also seeded a grass mix around the pond as our renter disked the corn stalks under for what will be oats planted in the coming weeks.
While we didn't get everything done that I wanted, we still rewarded ourselves with a meal at the Casual Cafe in Wellman.

Wednesday wildlife, To the Moon!
While working on the cabin, I looked up to find a turkey vulture circling overhead. I usually take it as a sign that he is waiting for me, but I took the time to grab the camera. He climbed up and I waited until it crossed into view.
